Wedding Photographs Fennes – The popular friendly Wedding Venue, The Fennes near Braintree, Essex, was Kristen and Andrew’s choice for their Wedding Day. Arriving at Fennes, Kristen was busily getting ready upstairs with the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls. Preparations were going well, so with keeping an eye on developments together with taking some detail pictures, it was busy! David sought out the men who were almost ready and when they were, there was time for some pictures to be taken. For a change David took Andrew, with his Best Man, Andy, out the back of Fennes for their pictures, even though it was raining. Pleased with the results they returned to the house. Meanwhile, Kristen was in the final stages of getting dressed and soon ready for some pictures.
Equally some lovely pictures captured of Kristen and the girls. In no time at all it was time for the Wedding Ceremony. With the Guests seated the Flowergirls led the way into the Pavilion followed by the Bridesmaids and Kristin escorted by her Father. Following the Ceremony, Kristen and Andrew led their Guests to the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception.
Unable to go outside at that particular time due to the continuing rain, the Wedding Guests made themselves comfortable in the rooms in Fennes, leaving us the Gold Room to take some pictures of the happy couple. A short while after the rain stopped, we all went outside for a few pictures, making good use of the steps. Later after socialising with their Guests, Kristen changed her footwear so we could venture further outside for their pictures. Kristen and Andrew wanted to make the most of the superb grounds for their wedding photography, so off we went, for a short tour! An enjoyable time, resulting in some lovely pictures for them.
Once they were back indoors the Guests threw confetti over Kristen and Andrew before the guests made their way to the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast. This allowed a few minutes for some pictures of Kristin and Andrew in the Red Room, before they also made their entrance into the Pavilion. Speeches followed the meal and then the Pavilion was prepared for the evening celebrations. After their evening Guests arrived in time for cutting the Wedding Cake shortly prior to the First Dance. Some lovely moments captured! Our coverage of Kristin and Andrew”s Wedding Day finished with their ‘sparklers’. A great day!
The Waterfront Dovercourt, is a new Wedding Venue for us and we were looking forward to Rebecca and Andrew’s Wedding with great anticipation. Rebecca and Andrew originally wanted to book us for their Wedding on a different date but we were already booked, so they moved their date to one we could do! The pressure was on! We arrived at Rebecca’s Parents’ house on the morning of the Wedding, just before Rebecca returned from the Hairdressers. With all of Rebecca’s accessories laid out we got on and photographed them for their book. Rebecca’s Mum and Sister helped her get dressed and we captured some nice moment shots when the Flowergirls, Katelyn and Rebecca, and Pageboy, Reuben, saw Rebecca in her Wedding Dress. Time was evaporating very quickly but we managed to take a few family pictures before leaving for the Church.
All Saints Church, Dovercourt was where Rebecca and Andrew were to be married. Andrew, his Best Man and Ushers were busy with their duties but we managed to take a few pictures of them before taking some pictures of the Wedding Guests arriving.
With everybody inside the Church, it was not long before Rebecca arrived. Following the service we arranged some family group portraits in the church grounds. It was a beautifully hot day but we made sure we didn’t keep everybody standing around for any more time than was necessary for the photographs. After the confetti pictures, Rebecca and Andrew and their guests, left for the Wedding Reception at The Waterfront Dovercourt.
After a couple of pictures with the car outside the Venue, Rebecca and Andrew went inside to get a break from the sun and to greet their Guests during the Drinks Reception. Their Guests were entertained by George, The Wedding Artist, a Caricaturist, who was superb! After a little while Rebecca, Andrew and the Bridal Party crossed the road to the beach and we took a few fun pictures and a couple of Rebecca and Andrew by themselves.
Rebecca and Andrew greeted their Guests in the Receiving Line before the Wedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed and after that there was an interval before the evening Reception.
It was during this time we took Rebecca and Andrew for a few more pictures before the evening Guests arrived and before the First Dance. Wow! What a fantastic rehearsed First Dance! Letting us in on their secret we provided them with some fabulous images! In our planning with Rebecca and Andrew before the day they requested a sunset picture at Harwich Pier which would be after the First Dance. We made sure our car had had a good clean, as that was the transportation to the Pier! We wanted these pictures as much as Rebecca and Andrew and thankfully neither of us were disappointed! In next to no time we were back to The Waterfront.
A little while later it was time to say goodbye. A lovely couple and thank you Rebecca and Andrew for inviting us to be part of your wonderful day. As for The Waterfront Dovercourt it is a very nice new venue with friendly staff and we look forward to working there again.
We met with Katie and Howard recently for their pre-wedding pictures and chat about their forthcoming Wedding at Vaulty Manor later in the year. Our local River Walk provided us with some good spots for some nice pictures.
It was a dry but windy day when we arrived at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, for the Wedding of Sarah and Paul. Sarah was getting ready in the Bridal Suite with Jo-Anne, her Bridesmaid and Ella, who was the Flowergirl. After capturing some getting ready pictures we took a few inside pictures of the three of them together with Sarah’s parents. We took some pictures of Paul and his Best Man, just before the Guests were arriving for the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony, Sarah and Paul enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds of Crabbs Barn, whilst we went looking for a sheltered corner to take the requested Family pictures, Mission achieved, Sarah and Paul spent some more time with their Guests before a few pictures with the Bridal Party and pictures of them together, as well as taking pictures of them with their son, Stanley. The Receiving Line preceded the Wedding Breakfast which was followed by the Speeches. Later, everybody enjoyed the evening sunshine, Sarah and Paul ended up with some lovely evening pictures, before the First Dance and a while later it was time for us to leave.
We are busily getting ready for this popular and very successful Wedding Show at The Brentwood Centre this weekend. We will be exhibiting our Wedding Photography and have two new sample Wedding Books that have just arrived, which we will have on display. This event is very well organised, with many Stands to visit as well as professional Fashion Shows to watch. We look forward to meeting you.
For the start of Vicki and Sean’s Wedding we met Vicki and her Bridesmaids in the beautiful Guild Room at The White Hart Hotel, Coggeshall, to take some pictures of them all prior us leaving for Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon. Whilst the Bridesmaids were travelling in the VW Lovebus, we photographed the guys outside Crabbs Barn with ‘Del Boy Reliant Robin’. After the Ceremony Vicki and Sean took a short ride in the Lovebus whilst their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception. After a few classic family group photographs, we spent a short time with Vicki and Sean (and Nathan of www.bamfordfilms.com, who was excellent) creating some relaxed images of themselves. Following the BBQ by JLS Catering, which was superb, the laughter and enjoyment continued with us capturing some wonderful images, ending with a sunset picture soon after the First Dance.
Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa, was the choice of Lisa and Simon for their Wedding. After taking the getting ready shots of Lisa and the arrival pictures of Simon, the Wedding Ceremony took place in the Gainsborough Room. During the Ceremony a heavy shower occurred, and continued for a little while, which caused some alteration to the plan for photography afterwards. Lisa and Simon therefore enjoyed mingling with their Guests indoors, in between family group shots taking place. Surface water did not prevent us from going down to the Lake, and we must thank the staff of Stoke-by-Nayland for assisting us so well, making sure Lisa’s dress stayed clean and dry! After the Wedding Breakfast early evening sun provided some beautiful relaxed pictures of Lisa and Simon, amongst the trees, finishing up with a beautiful sunset sky.
We met Lauren and Neil one evening at Hadleigh Castle for their pre-wedding pictures. Spoilt for choice with lovely views making for some nice pictures, we came away with some great images. Lauren and Neil are getting married in a few weeks at The Lawn, Rochford, Essex.
