Wedding Photography Fennes – Gemma & Dan

Fennes is one of the most popular and also one of our favourite Wedding Venues. This was where Gemma and Dan chose to have their Wedding. When we arrived at Fennes, it was raining, so unfortunately the planned outside Ceremony looked highly unlikely!  Gemma was getting ready upstairs and preparations were going well.  Meanwhile, Dan was getting ready in the Bridal cottage with his Best Man and Ushers.  For Dan’s pictures the rain had stopped so we went outside for their pictures.  Excitement was building upstairs as the Bridesmaids were getting their dresses on, followed by Gemma getting dressed.  Gemma looked lovely and once ready we took a few classic pictures.Wedding Photography Fennes Recommended After Gemma and Dan had seen the Registrars, with the Wedding Guests seated, it was time for the Ceremony in the Pavilion which looked perfect.  Beautiful singing by Gemma’s Mum, Lynn, and sister, Charlotte, added to the celebration.  Afterwards, Gemma and Dan left the Pavilion and made their way outside with their Guests following them.  During the Drinks Reception we took the requested family pictures as well as some informal shots.  The bridge and Gazebo provided the setting for some of Gemma and Dan’s ‘together’ pictures before the confetti pictures in the Gold Room.Wedding Photographer Fennes We were hedging our bets for more pictures later together with the weather improving. The Wedding Breakfast was then served followed by the Speeches.  The sun was now out so after taking some fun Bridal party pictures, there was time to go and take a walk around the grounds of Fennes, which Gemma and Dan wanted to do. Fennes Wedding PhotographerThe evening guests were starting to arrive and mingle with the day guests.  The children were having fun on the Bouncy Castle and some of their Guests were relaxing in the evening sunshine. Later Gemma and Dan took to the dance floor for their First Dance, to be joined by their parents and Guests.  As the sun was going, we couldn’t miss that!Essex Wedding Photographer Fennes heart shotA nice ending to a lovely day!  Thank you to Nicola and all at Fennes as always.

Pre-Wedding Pictures

It was great to meet Estelle and Wayne recently for their pre-wedding pictures.  Hylands House, Chelmsford, was our meeting point and we took a few images of Estelle and Wayne around the grounds. Estelle and Wayne are getting married at The Fennes Estate, Bocking, shortly.wedding-photographer-essex-pre-wedding-pictures

Wedding Photography – Faye & Mitchell – The Fennes Estate, Bocking

It was a dry, bright day when we arrived at Fennes for the Wedding of Faye and Mitch. Preparations were underway and running smoothly, giving us sufficient time to photograph Faye in a relaxed atmosphere.  Following the Civil Ceremony and after the everybody photograph, Faye and Mitch socialised with their Guests during the Drinks Reception.  As it was chilly outside Faye and Mitch requested their family group pictures to be taken in the House.  The beauty of having Fennes is that there is the opportunity to use the different rooms for photographs which adds variety to the pictures. Not to be missed though, was a walk to the Bridge for some portraits of Faye and Mitch later on.  After the Wedding Breakfast we captured some lovely images of Guests whilst the Speeches were taking place.   Just before the First Dance we took a couple of night shots of Faye and Mitch before leaving a little while after the First Dance.Wedding Photo - The Fennes Estate

Wedding 'Thank You'

David and I were delighted to receive a ‘thank you’ from Sandra and Drew, whose Wedding we photographed recently at The Fennes, Bocking:-

“We just wanted to say a big Thank You for the beautiful photos you took of our wedding.  You both made everyone feel at ease and we are absolutely delighted with the results.  The only problem is you have made it very difficut for us to choose the best photos for the Storybook, as there are so many great shots.  Thanks again”.
