Essex Wedding Photographers at Crabbs Barn for Jasmine and Jake

Essex Wedding Photographers at Crabbs Barn for Jasmine and Jake

We had the pleasure to be Essex Wedding Photographers at Crabbs Barn for Jasmine and Jake –  The weather was beautiful for Jasmine and Jake’s Wedding in the Summer at Crabbs Barn. Our day started at the fabulous Air B & B Maysent House, Bocking, Braintree. Jasmine and Jake had hired out this house for a couple of days. Jasmine, the two Mums and the girls were getting ready there and it was perfect. When we arrived the preparations were going well. We chatted with Pam, Jasmine’s Mum for a few minutes to catch up as we took her Wedding photographs when she married Dan at Fennes a few years ago.

Essex wedding details

It was nice to see Michelle of  Bumblebee Bridal again (we have worked with her a lot recently) working her magic on the girls’ hair.  Just loved the colour scheme and the flowers in the hair! Whilst the hair and make up preparations were going on in the downstairs rooms and after capturing some images we went upstairs to take pictures of Jasmine’s dress and accessories. It was nice to have room to take these pictures. These taken, the  Bridesmaids were getting dressed, Jasmine’s Mum, Pam, who was ready then helped Jasmine get dressed. After a few pictures we all went outside into the garden.Wedding Photographer Essex A shady area provided enough room for us to take a few pictures of them all before we left to go to the wedding. Good timing!

Crabbs Barn

We arrived at Crabbs Barn just as Jake did! Jake and his Best Men had a few pictures taken before they carried out their duties.Crabbs Barn Recommended Wedding Photographer Guests mingled in the gardens before Jasmine arrived so we were able to capture a few informal pictures before they made their way into the Barn for the Ceremony. Jasmine’s  Mum, Pam, escorted her into the Barn when it was time for the Ceremony. Following the Ceremony everyone went outside for the Dove release.

During the Drinks Reception we got on with taking the required family pictures. There was time for Jasmine and Jake to have several breaks from various pictures to socialise with their Guests. Jasmine and Jake were covered with petals just before going inside the Barn for the BBQ.

The Speeches

Crabbs Barn Wedding PhotographerThe Speeches followed the meal and afterwards every went outside into the grounds to enjoy the evening sunshine. The evening light was superb so we went with Jasmine and Jake for a walk in the lane. Lovely pictures! Essex Wedding PhotographersWhen we returned the Evening Guests had arrived and they joined the audience as they were being entertained by the fabulous Magician, Nick Crown. As always some great reactions! Today also provided a great Sunset which was followed by Jasmine and Jake cutting their Wedding cake then taking to the dance floor for their First Dance. It wasn’t long after that we said our goodbyes. A beautiful day, and such a lovely couple.

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers for Charlotte & Paul

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers for Charlotte & Paul

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers – We had the pleasure of photographing Charlotte and Paul’s Wedding in the Summer last year at St Peter’s Church, Great Totham and then at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon. It was an early start as we started off at Charlotte’s family home where she was getting ready. Preparations were underway and going well. After taking some pictures of details and accessories and a few getting ready pictures, Charlotte, her Parents and Bridesmaids  got ready. It was a lovely day albeit a touch windy but in the garden we were sheltered so we took a few pictures of them all. When we left to go to the Church, they all had a little time to themselves, except Michael, Charlotte’s Brother, who was an Usher and came with us to the Church. Paul was at the Church with his Groomsmen so we took a few pictures of them before they carried out their duties. As the Guests arrived they chatted for a little while before going into the Church. Charlotte and Paul arrived in  a Horse and Carriage not long after.

St Peter's Church Great Totham Charlotte and her Father had travelled from the family home to Tiptree where their Horse and Carriage was awaiting them.  Charlotte had arranged this but had kept it secret from her Father. Nigel was beaming ear to ear when he arrived as was Charlotte! Time for them to go into the Church. The service was extra special to Charlotte and Paul as this was carried out by  the family’s local Vicar from Braintree. After the service Charlotte and Paul exited the Church and were showered in confetti. Essex Wedding PhotographerCharlotte and Paul spent a few minutes with their Guests before we got on with taking the family Group pictures. It was windy but we were able to take some pictures outside the Church door as well as under the trees. . Charlotte and Paul then left the Church by Horse and Carriage and then halfway to Crabbs Barn they continued by car.Wedding Photographer Essex Crabbs Barn looked wonderful, on arrival the Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds. When Charlotte and Paul arrived, they had time to speak to their Guests and enjoy the Drinks Reception as well.  Charlotte and Paul’s pictures around the grounds were taken before the Receiving Line and Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast and there was time for everybody to spend time outside enjoying the pleasant evening.  The Barn was set up for the evening celebrations and during this time we went for a short walk into the lane beside Crabbs Barn and also visited the cornfield.  Beautiful light and later on  a stunning Sunset.  The icing on the cake for us! Talking about cake, Charlotte and Paul cut their Wedding Cake before they took to the dance floor for their First Dance.Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers After capturing a few more memories of the evening we said our goodbyes. It was nice to meet Red Carpet Videos again. Charlotte and Paul, you are a lovely couple and it was a wonderful Wedding Day as Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers.

Wedding Photography Crabbs Barn – Georgina & Tim

Wedding Photography Crabbs Barn – Although Georgina and Tim booked us for their Wedding Photography in 2015, we saw them again only a few days before their Wedding in 2016 as they live in Australia! On the day of their Wedding we arrived at Georgina’s family home for the bridal preparations. These were progressing very well, the girls were busy and there was a relaxed feel about the day. Accessories and preparation pictures were taken. Wedding Photographer Crabbs BanFollowing the opening of the Champagne , us taking a few pictures of the scene, the Bridesmaids went to put their dresses on. Georgina’s turn next, helped by her Mum and Bridesmaids. Georgina looked stunning! It was a beautiful day so we used the patio and garden for some pictures of them all as well as taking a few pictures inside.  It was soon time for us to leave to go  to Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon for the the Ceremony. Arriving we met with Tim, who was looking rather dapper.  Having time we took a few pictures of Tim with Best Man and Ushers before more of the Guests arrived.Crabbs Barn Recommended Wedding Photographer  The Ceremony was going to be an outdoor affair, our first of the year and the set up was looking fabulous!  Georgina arrived at Crabbs Barn driven by her Father in his car,  which was out for this special occasion! Whilst we were taking a couple of pictures Guests were taking their places for the Ceremony. The Bridesmaids then led the way to the Gazebo, which looked a picture. A Wedding Celebrant performed the Ceremony for Georgina and Tim and how nice it was too.Crabbs Barn Recommended Wedding Photography Afterwards Georgina and Tim were  greeted and wished ‘good luck’ by a Chimney Sweep. Time for socialising during the Drinks Reception but also during this time we got on with the requested family pictures. It was nice that there was a large contingent of family members and friends from Australia as well as from England and great to capture these pictures. Fun Bridal Party shots and a few pictures of Georgina and Tim around the grounds followed. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Barn.  After the main meal it was time for the Speeches. Once the meal was finished, everybody went outside to enjoy the wonderful evening.  A walk in the lane beside Crabbs Barn in the evening sun was a must so off we went with Georgina and Tim and Oli from Legend Videography. Georgina and Tim practised their First Dance for us, superb! Crabbs Barn Recommended Wedding PhotographerWhen we returned Georgina and Tim wanted a few more pictures with their Guests, including the throwing of her bouquet when the evening Guests arrived. With the Band ready, the Barn set up for the evening celebrations it was time for the cake cutting and First Dance.  What a show Georgina and Tim put on! Some great pictures of their choreographed First Dance. Recommended Wedding Photographer Crabbs BarnThe sunset later finished our coverage of Georgina and Tim’s Wedding.  A memorable day!

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography for Louise and Gary

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography for Louise and Gary

We have been looking forward to photographing Louise and Gary’s Summer Crabbs Barn Wedding for some time, having known Gary for quite a few years. It was nice to play an important part on his Wedding Day. It was a beautiful day and Crabbs Barn provided a lovely setting for their Wedding. After double checking timings etc, we made our way around to the Bridal Suite to see Louise. Louise had partially got ready at her Parents’ home, leaving the final preparations to do at Crabbs Barn.  Everything was running smoothly, so we got on with taking pictures of Louise’s Wedding Dress and accessories whilst Louise’s hair and make-up was completed. Meanwhile, Gary had arrived with his Best Men and Ushers and before they got on with their jobs, they had a few pictures taken before too many of the Guests arrived. Once Louise’s Bridesmaids and Mother were ready, they assisted Louise with getting dressed. Louise looked amazing in her dress. When Louise’s Dad came into the room to see her it was a lovely moment. There was time for all of them to exchange cards and presents before it was time to move on.

Crabbs Barn Recommended Wedding Photographer Being such a lovely day we stepped outside to take a few pictures before Louise took her Father’s arm and walked along the path towards the Barn for the Ceremony. Louise and Gary chose to have their Wedding Ceremony in the Barn, which was looking splendid. Recommended Wedding Photographer Crabbs Barn After seeing the Registrars, Louise made her entrance into the Barn for the Wedding. After the Ceremony we took Louise and Gary for a couple of pictures at the gate whilst their Guests made their way to the Drinks Reception. Louise and Gary joined their Guests shortly afterwards and enjoyed the time socialising and being entertained by the Singers outside. After everyone had time to relax it was time to get on with the requested family group pictures, followed by the fun Bridal Party pictures which were enjoyable to do. We managed to find a little time for a quick walk around the venue for Louise and Gary’s pictures before the confetti. Crabbs Barn Wedding PhotographyThe Barn was decorated beautifully for their Wedding  Breakfast.  The Speeches followed the meal, Gary’s Speech providing amusement, with more laughter and reactions from the Speech given by the Best Men, Paul and Glen.Wedding Photographer Crabbs Barn After the Wedding Breakfast everybody went outside so the Barn could be prepared for the evening celebrations. Later on we went for a short walk to take a few evening pictures including a walk in the cornfield, finishing up with a fabulous sunset! Upon return to the Barn it was time for the cake cutting and First Dance.  Gary and Louise’s evening Guests joined the rest of the Guests and them for this in the barn.Essex Wedding Photographer Crabbs Barn Capturing a few informal relaxed pictures of couples and groups, we then had some social time talking to people who we knew. Wow! What a memorable day! Louise and Gary, you are a lovely couple, all your planning and hard work paid off, well done! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we know you certainly did! Great as always to work with  David of Rideout Films and all the team at Crabbs Barn.

Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding – Jo & Jonathan

Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding

Jo and Jon chose to have a Crabbs Barn evening wedding in the summer. First of all we made a short visit to The Crowne Plaza Resort at Five Lakes where Jo was getting ready.  After a few preparation and detail pictures, we then made our way to Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon. Jon and his Best Man, Matt, soon arrived so we used a few minutes taking their pictures. It was a beautiful evening and the Wedding Guests chatted and enjoyed the sunshine, whilst we took some informal pictures.  When it was time the guests moved into the Barn ready for the Ceremony.  Jo arrived with her brother Duncan, who was giving her away and after seeing the Registrars they made their way into the Barn.

Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding Following the Ceremony, Jo and Jon walked down the path to the gate for a couple of pictures of them with the car. Essex Wedding Photographer Crabbs BarnThey then joined their Guests in the grounds for the Drinks Reception.  After the requested family pictures there was just enough time for us to take Jo and Jon for a quick walk around the grounds of Crabbs Barn for their pictures before the BBQ. More guests arrived in time for the outdoor Speeches and evening celebrations starting with the cake cutting and followed by the First Dance. A surprise firework display provided added entertainment to the evening and a moon picture ended our coverage of a lovely Wedding.Evening Wedding Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon Photographer Essex
