Wedding Photography Layer Marney Tower – It was a beautiful day for Melissa and Graham’s Wedding. Our day started at Melissa’s Parents’ home where Melissa and the girls were making their final preparations. When Melissa was ready we took a few pictures inside and outside, before leaving for the Church. At St Mary’s Church, Fairstead Guests were starting to arrive but we managed to fit in a few pictures of Graham and his Groomsmen. As the Guests made their way into the Church we captured some nice natural candid images. Melissa arrived at the Church in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce for the Church service. After the service the Wedding Guests followed Melissa and Graham outside for some traditional family pictures. Once finished, the Guests lined the pathway and threw confetti over Melissa and Graham as they walked to the car to go to the Reception at Layer Marney. On arrival at Layer Marney, Melissa and Graham were dropped in the Courtyard as they wanted to view The Long Galley and have a couple of pictures taken before their Guests arrived. Layer Marney’s Chaffeur, Graham, then took them for a short ride before arriving at the gate at the bottom of Tower. As the Guests arrived they enjoyed the Drinks Reception and congregated on the top step by the Tower. Friends of Melissa and Graham had arranged to bring Melissa’s horse to the Reception, which was a surprise to the Guests. With some nice images captured and Melissa’s horse back in the horse box, Melissa and Graham joined their Guests. In between socialising with their Guests, we took Melissa and Graham for a few pictures of them together before the start of the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. In the interval before the start of the evening celebrations, everybody was entertained by the fabulous singer Joe Frydd. After such a very warm sunny day we thought a sunset was likely. Melissa and Graham are dancers which really made a special ‘Wow’ picture for them! This of course extended to their fantastic First Dance which was very well choreographed. Afterwards they cut their Wedding cake and just before we left a nightime picture ended our coverage of a wonderful day.
Wedding Photography at Layer Marney – It was a beautiful day for Victoria and Paul’s Wedding at Layer Marney Tower. First of all we arrived at where Victoria, her Parents and Deb, her Matron of Honour were getting ready. Everything was going well and Victoria was having the final touches applied to her make-up by her make-up artist Dawn Taylor
Once everybody was ready we went outside and took a few pictures amongst the trees, before leaving to go to Layer Marney Tower, Layer de la Haye. We met Paul together with his Best Man, Richard, and took a couple of pictures before they greeted the Wedding Guests. Victoria arrived shortly afterwards in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce and made her way up to the Corsellis Room. After the Civil Ceremony Victoria and Paul went for a short ride whilst their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception and ice creams from the ice cream cart, perfect on a very warm day! We took some lovely pictures of Victoria and Paul when they arrived back from their ride in the car and walked up the path to the Tower which was bathed in sunshine. Layer Marney Tower was open so we took a couple of pictures of the two of them there before they socialised with their Guests. After a little while we got on with the family group pictures and Victoria and Paul’s together pictures around the grounds. Just before the Wedding Breakfast Victoria and Paul were showered with confetti before being announced in for the Wedding Breakfast. After the meal it was time for speeches. It was decided as it was rather warm in the Long Gallery the Speeches were held outside. This made for some different pictures, which added to Victoria and Paul’s Wedding Day. Well done to Richard, the Best Man, for his Speech, all in verse! After a lovely day, a fabulous sunset! This was followed by Victoria and Paul cutting their Wedding Cake before their First Dance. Later as a surprise to their Guests a firework display! A wonderful day!
