Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa & Ross

Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa & Ross

It was a beautiful day for Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa and Ross. Lisa and Ross had a small Wedding with family members and a few close friends for their Church Wedding. St James The Less Church at Little Tey was where we started our coverage from, meeting the friendly Church Wardens. This picturesque Church is a gem and it looked even more beautiful today.

Ross got on with greeting the Guests after we took a couple of pictures of him with his brother Robbie. Leaving them to carry out their duties we waited for Lisa to arrive. The Bridesmaids, Sara and Monica and Lisa’s Mother Maria arrived first, followed by Lisa with her Father. After a few pictures and when the Guests were seated they walked down the path and into the Church. Being such a small Church, a small number of Guests it was just right for an intimate Wedding Service. During the signing of the Registers, Ross’ Brother Robbie sung for the congregation which was wonderful.

With the formalities completed Lisa and Ross exited the Church, spent a few minutes with their Guests before we got on with the requested pictures. These didn’t take very long, then the Guests lined the path to shower Lisa and Ross with confetti as they walked to the cars.

The Borage Field

Earlier we had spotted the fantastic field of Borage opposite the Church so before leaving we suggested to Lisa and Ross if they wanted some pictures taken in the field. It was worth doing some and we ended up with some lovely pictures. The Guests waved to Lisa and Ross as they left to go to the Barn Brasserie at Great Tey. The Drinks Reception was held in the Courtyard and Lisa and Ross enjoyed socialising with their Guests for a little while. Later we took Lisa and Ross for a short time to walk around The Barn stopping at various places to take some pictures. When Lisa, Ross and their Guests sat down for the meal we left them. This was a beautiful Wedding and a privilege to be asked to photograph it, thank you Lisa and Ross.

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason

It was nice to be back for more Prested Hall Wedding Photography. This time for the Wedding of Hayley and Jason. Hayley, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Prested Apartments, situated in the Spa complex. We started our coverage from there as the girls were having their hair and make-up finished.

Hayley’s Dress and accessories were over in the main house so we made sure pictures of these were taken. Preparations were going well and it wasn’t long before the girls were ready to transfer to Prested Hall itself.  Hayley’s timings were good and allowed us time to get the required photographs with her Bridesmaids and parents.Recommended Wedding Photographer Essex

Carriage Ride to Church

The Horse and Carriage was ready for Hayley as we finished the pictures to take her with her Father to All Saints Church, Feering. David and I left to get to the Church before them and take a few pictures of Jason and his Groomsmen, who were very relaxed and enjoying the moments. We managed to complete taking Jason’s pictures before too many of the Guests arrived, then left Jason, his Best Man and Ushers to continue greeting them.

It was a beautiful day, ideal for arriving at Church in a Horse and Carriage. After taking a couple of pictures, Hayley and her Father walked towards to the Church. The Bridesmaids were first to enter the Church, then Hayley and her Father followed. Wow! The atmosphere, emotions, reactions were fantastic and these continued all the way through the service. Some wonderful moments captured! Essex Church Wedding PhotographerAfter the Church service, everybody came outside and after a few minutes we got on with the requested family pictures.  It was nice for Jason to have a large contingent of his family over from Australia, where he originates from. With the group pictures completed the Guests threw confetti over Hayley and Jason.

Hayley and Jason then enjoyed the ride to Prested Hall for the Reception. The Drinks Reception awaited them and their Guests on their arrival and there was time for everyone to socialise. During the rest of the afternoon we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few of Hayley and Jason by themselves.Prested Hall Recommended Wedding Photographers

The Wedding Breakfast

The Marquee looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast and when the time was right the Guests everyone took their seats. The Speeches followed the meal before all the guests went outside to enjoy the evening sunshine.  Prested Hall Wedding Photography

The Evening

Hayley and Jason were pleased we asked them to create a few more pictures in the evening light. Moving around Prested Hall we ended up with a variety of nice relaxed and fun evening pictures. The Evening Guests were arriving when we returned so we left Hayley and Jason greeting them.

Later after cutting their Wedding Cake, they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. During the evening we captured a few informal pictures whilst waiting for the sunset. We whisked Hayley and Jason away for a little while by car for the sunset. Not to be missed! It was spectacular! Recommended Wedding Photographer Prested HallThis ended our coverage of Hayley and Jason’s wonderful Wedding. A lovely couple! A great Wedding! Thank you to Hayley and Jason for such  a memorable Wedding. A mention to Rachel of Prested Hall, it was nice working with you as always.

Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography for Lucy & Joe

Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography for Lucy and Joe was on a beautiful Spring Day. Our day started at Crowne Plaza Resort Five Lakes.Lucy and Joe were both getting ready. After saying ‘hello’ and a few words with Lucy and the girls, David went off to see Joe. I stayed with the Lucy and the girls and captured the action as it happened as well as taking pictures of the details and accessories. There was a lot going on but all was calm and collected. Joe had a couple of pictures taken before he and his Groomsmen left to go  to St. Peters Church, Great Totham.Recommended Wedding Photographer Layer Marney Whilst this was happening  Lucy and the girls were on the balcony in the room with their glasses of champagne having their picture taken before getting dressed. It was important for  Lucy to see her Father’s reaction when she was dressed and the time as always was going very fast. With the help of her Mum and Bridesmaids this was achieved quickly and we had a little time for a few other pictures before we had to leave. St Peter’s Church, Great Totham was where the marriage was taking place and once we arrived we took some Guest arrival pictures, as well as a few of Joe and his Groomsmen.St Peter's Church Great Totham Wedding PhotographerWaiting at the Church were the Flowergirl Estelle-Rose and Ben,the Pageboy, who were eager to see Lucy arrive at the Church gate.  After getting a glimpse of her they rushed back to the Church Door to surprise her. The String Quartet played as Lucy then took her Father’s arm and went into the Church.St Peter's Church Great Totham Wedding Photographer Outside the Church after the service Lucy and Joe just wanted a few pictures taken  as they wanted to get back to Layer Marney. The Guests climbed aboard the Layer Marney Bus as Lucy and Joe were driven to Layer Marney Tower.  The Drinks Reception was held outside in front of the Tower so the Guests took a drink and when Lucy and Joe arrived at the bottom gate they made their way down there.  Lucy and Joe wanted to walk upto the Tower  with the Guests blowing bubbles over them and this is what happened. Some nice pictures.Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography Lucy and Joe had time to spend with their Guests during the afternoon as well as us taking the requested family group pictures. During the afternoon Alan Nunn, the Magician and Arioso String Quartet provided the entertainment.  Later whilst we took Lucy and Joe for a walk around the grounds of Layer Marney the children plus their Mums and Dads went into the Barn to see the lambs.  If wanted they could give the lambs their milk which some did. When we returned the Guests made their way into the Long Gallery for the Wedding Breakfast.  Lucy and Joe were announced in and they took their seats at the top table ready for the meal to be served. The Speeches followed and once this were finished we made a dash outside for the sunset.  Phew! We just made it in time for some nice pictures. Recommended Wedding Photographer Layer MarneyWe finished with some evening pictures in front of the Tower before going inside.  The Band was ready so Lucy and Joe took to the dance floor for their First Dance. After taking a few informal group pictures of the evening it was time for us to say our ‘goodbyes’. A long day but a most rewarding day and a nice Wedding. It was nice to see Julia of W. Flowers and to meet Michelle of Bumblebee bridal (little did we know at the time we would be seeing and working with each other on several Weddings this year!)

We arrived at Trish’s home first of all to take a few getting ready pictures and a few pictures of Trish’s accessories and details. Before we left we managed to take a few pictures when everybody was ready.  Trish and Chris were having a Church Service at St Margarets Church, Downham. Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers for Charlotte & Paul

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers – We had the pleasure of photographing Charlotte and Paul’s Wedding in the Summer last year at St Peter’s Church, Great Totham and then at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon. It was an early start as we started off at Charlotte’s family home where she was getting ready. Preparations were underway and going well. After taking some pictures of details and accessories and a few getting ready pictures, Charlotte, her Parents and Bridesmaids  got ready. It was a lovely day albeit a touch windy but in the garden we were sheltered so we took a few pictures of them all. When we left to go to the Church, they all had a little time to themselves, except Michael, Charlotte’s Brother, who was an Usher and came with us to the Church. Paul was at the Church with his Groomsmen so we took a few pictures of them before they carried out their duties. As the Guests arrived they chatted for a little while before going into the Church. Charlotte and Paul arrived in  a Horse and Carriage not long after.

St Peter's Church Great Totham Charlotte and her Father had travelled from the family home to Tiptree where their Horse and Carriage was awaiting them.  Charlotte had arranged this but had kept it secret from her Father. Nigel was beaming ear to ear when he arrived as was Charlotte! Time for them to go into the Church. The service was extra special to Charlotte and Paul as this was carried out by  the family’s local Vicar from Braintree. After the service Charlotte and Paul exited the Church and were showered in confetti. Essex Wedding PhotographerCharlotte and Paul spent a few minutes with their Guests before we got on with taking the family Group pictures. Marquee Wedding Suffolk

Marquee Wedding Suffolk

It was a beautiful day for Helen and Jamie’s  Church and Marque Wedding.  Our first port of call was to Helen and Jamie’s home for some getting ready pictures. Whilst Helen was having the final touches applied to her make-up and hair we got on with taking detail and accessories pictures.  Once Helen was ready we took a couple of bridal portraits then a couple of pictures with her Parents before leaving. St Edmund’s Church, Assington was the place where the Church service for Helen and Jamie’s chose to get married.  With the sun shining brightly the flowers over the gateway to the Church enhanced the picturesque scene. Guests were beginning to arrive so we took  a few pictures of Jamie, his Best Man and Ushers, followed by a couple of requested pictures.Marquee Wedding Suffolk Whilst the Guests made their way into the Church, Anna, their Flowergirl waited outside for Helen to arrive.  Helen arrived in a white Morgan driven by her Father and after a couple of pictures walked up the path to the Church. Anna led the way into the Church sprinkling flower petals as she went, followed by Helen escorted by her Father.  After the service we took a few family pictures before the Guests threw confetti over Helen and Jamie as they reached the gateway.  Helen and Jamie wanted to have a few pictures of themselves in the Church before leaving, so their Guests left to go the Reception. Suffolk Wedding PhotographerJamie then drove the car to the Woods where we created some nice pictures of the two of them. Prested Hall Wedding Photography – Charlotte & Jonathan

Prested Hall Wedding Photography

Prested Hall Wedding Photography – It was nice to be asked by Jonathan and Charli to photograph their Wedding at St Nicholas Church, Witham and then Prested Hall, Feering. We have known Jonathan since he was born and it was a pleasure to provide Wedding Photography for them. Prested Hall was where we started on the day of Charli and Jonathan’s Wedding. Charli, her Mother and Bridesmaids were having their hair and make-up done before moving to the Dingle.  After capturing a few ‘getting ready’ shots, we then moved to the Dingle where we took a few pictures of Charli’s Wedding Dress and accessories. It was soon time for Charli to move from the Spa to the Dingle to get dressed, assisted by her Mum. With everybody ready we took a few pictures outside before leaving to go to our local Church St Nicholas, Witham, where the Wedding service was taking place. We met Jonathan and as a few guests had started to arrive we promptly took his pictures together with his Best Men and Ushers. Once the Guests had made their way into the Church, Leah the Flowergirl joined Charli and the Bridesmaids who had just arrived and  we had a few extra minutes for a some nice pictures.  Charli then took her Father’s arm and walked up the path and into the Church.

Prested Hall wedding photographyOn our return it was time for the Wedding Breakfast.  The Marquee looked lovely and whilst Charli and Jonathan greeted their Guests we captured the reactions of their Guests as they had their ‘first look’ at the lego centrepieces on the tables.  Charli was extremely proud of her Brother’s work in making them all.  After the meal it was time for the Speeches, which included an ‘ode’ by Jane, the Groom’s Mum. Everybody then went outside for a big group photo  before the evening entertainment.  Charli, Jonathan and ourselves went for a stroll in the grounds, finding a patch of bluebells, just right for some relaxed evening pictures.  On our return the Band had set up, evening Guests had arrived and Charli and Jonathan had their First Dance. Later Jonathan surprised Charli with joining the Band playing his Guitar for a couple of songs. A little while later we said goodbye, finished with a couple of nice evening pictures.
