Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography

It was a lovely day for Becky and Marcus’ Church Wedding at Lavenham and their Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography and reception. Becky, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready at The Swan, Lavenham. When we arrived there earlier in the day preparations were well underway. We stayed a while in the room where the preparations were going capturing a few of these pictures before going off to photograph Becky’s Wedding Dress and accessories in another room. Essex Wedding PhotographerReturning to the girls it was time for the Bridesmaids to go and get changed and Becky followed soon after. With lots going on and time evaporating extremely quickly everyone was very focused!

David decided to go to the Church during changing whilst I remained with the girls. So good to have the Church just up the road! Once Becky and the Bridesmaids were ready, I just took a couple of pictures of them before Becky’s Father came upstairs to see his daughter. It is one of those moments I love and I was happy to be there. My turn now to get my skates on and leave them and make my way to the St Peter & St Paul Church.Essex Wedding PhotographerDavid had taken the pictures of Marcus and his Groomsmen and they were inside the Church awaiting the arrival of Becky. The Bridesmaids and Becky arrived and entered the Church. After the service Becky and Marcus came out of the Church and went off to the side to allow their Guests to exit. The guests lined the path and showered the happy couple!Essex Wedding Photographer At the Church we took the few requested family pictures before leaving to go to Smeetham Barn.

Drinks awaited everyone at Smeetham. After Becky and Marcus had some social time we went over to the House and grounds for a few pictures of them. Enjoying the weather everyone socialised outside and we got on with taking some informal pictures. Soon it was time for the Wedding Breakfast followed by the Speeches. Some great reactions captured!

As the time before the Wedding Breakfast had been a little short,  the Bridal Party and us went over to the lake for a few fun relaxed pictures after the meal.Wedding Photographer Smeetham Hall Barn Keeping Becky and Marcus a little while longer, we took a few more pictures of them by the water. Returning to their Guests as the Evening Guests were now arriving.

Becky and Marcus had time to socialise for a while.Later they cut their Wedding cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance.

Smeetham Barn is a lovely place if you get a sunset and Becky and Marcus did. A fantastic way to end our coverage of their Wedding.Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography Thank you Becky and Marcus for letting us be your Wedding Photographers, a wonderful Wedding!

Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate for Beth & Alex

Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate for Beth & Alex

It was a nice day when we arrived to be Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate for Alex and Beth’s  Wedding. We arrived early at Fennes as Beth   was getting ready there before the Church Wedding at St Mary’s Church, Bocking. Beth was upstairs in the Bridal Changing Rooms with her Bridesmaids and all was calm and collected.   We got on with taking pictures of Beth’s accessories and details whilst capturing images of the final preparations.

It wasn’t long before Beth and the Bridesmaids were dressed and ready for some photographs. After a couple of pictures upstairs we went downstairs and into the Gold Room. It is really nice when there are no Guests inside the House as we are able to take some pictures in the downstairs rooms before leaving for a Church Wedding. With the pictures taken we left Beth to go to the Church.

St Mary’s Bocking

Alex and his Groomsmen were there carrying out their duties we were able to interrupt them just for a few minutes to take a few pictures.St Mary's Church Bocking Wedding Photographer We took some Guests arrival pictures coming up the path and into the Church before Beth arrived. At the Church Tippi, the Flowergirl, joined Beth, her Father and the Bridesmaids.St Mary's Church Bocking Wedding Photographer Beth and her Father followed the Bridesmaids into the Church for the service. It was a nice service and when it was finished everybody exited the Church for a few quick family pictures.  Beth and Alex then walked down the path being showered by confetti as they went. Returning to Fennes, we got on with the car pictures before the Guests arrived.

The Drinks Reception followed outdoors with the weather holding. Alex and Beth wanted to have plenty of time to spend with their Guests and that is exactly what they had. During the afternoon we took a few smaller group pictures. We spent a few minutes with Beth and Alex taking their pictures as the forecast was not looking too good for later. Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate Then the rain came just before we could get the ‘everybody’ shot done. Thankfully Fennes has lots of space and with the help of the staff we managed to improvise just prior to the Wedding Breakfast.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and this was followed by the Speeches. Afterwards there was Crazy Golf and other games in the Banqueting Hall to keep the adults and children entertained. Later Beth and Alex cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. The weather prevented us taking Beth and Alex outside for some evening pictures so we made use of the steps and took the ‘heart’ picture. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerHappy with our pictures we then said our ‘goodbyes’. It was a lovely day and nice to see Stephanie (Alex’s sister)  and Tim, whose Wedding we photographed 21 years ago at Leez Priory!

Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa & Ross

Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa & Ross

It was a beautiful day for Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa and Ross. Lisa and Ross had a small Wedding with family members and a few close friends for their Church Wedding. St James The Less Church at Little Tey was where we started our coverage from, meeting the friendly Church Wardens. This picturesque Church is a gem and it looked even more beautiful today.

Ross got on with greeting the Guests after we took a couple of pictures of him with his brother Robbie. Leaving them to carry out their duties we waited for Lisa to arrive. The Bridesmaids, Sara and Monica and Lisa’s Mother Maria arrived first, followed by Lisa with her Father. After a few pictures and when the Guests were seated they walked down the path and into the Church. Being such a small Church, a small number of Guests it was just right for an intimate Wedding Service. During the signing of the Registers, Ross’ Brother Robbie sung for the congregation which was wonderful.

With the formalities completed Lisa and Ross exited the Church, spent a few minutes with their Guests before we got on with the requested pictures. These didn’t take very long, then the Guests lined the path to shower Lisa and Ross with confetti as they walked to the cars.

The Borage Field

Earlier we had spotted the fantastic field of Borage opposite the Church so before leaving we suggested to Lisa and Ross if they wanted some pictures taken in the field. It was worth doing some and we ended up with some lovely pictures. The Guests waved to Lisa and Ross as they left to go to the Barn Brasserie at Great Tey. The Drinks Reception was held in the Courtyard and Lisa and Ross enjoyed socialising with their Guests for a little while. Later we took Lisa and Ross for a short time to walk around The Barn stopping at various places to take some pictures. Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason

It was nice to be back for more Prested Hall Wedding Photography. This time for the Wedding of Hayley and Jason. Hayley, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Prested Apartments, situated in the Spa complex. We started our coverage from there as the girls were having their hair and make-up finished.

Hayley’s Dress and accessories were over in the main house so we made sure pictures of these were taken. Preparations were going well and it wasn’t long before the girls were ready to transfer to Prested Hall itself.  Hayley’s timings were good and allowed us time to get the required photographs with her Bridesmaids and parents.Recommended Wedding Photographer Essex

Carriage Ride to Church

The Horse and Carriage was ready for Hayley as we finished the pictures to take her with her Father to All Saints Church, Feering. David and I left to get to the Church before them and take a few pictures of Jason and his Groomsmen, who were very relaxed and enjoying the moments. We managed to complete taking Jason’s pictures before too many of the Guests arrived, then left Jason, his Best Man and Ushers to continue greeting them.

It was a beautiful day, ideal for arriving at Church in a Horse and Carriage. After taking a couple of pictures, Hayley and her Father walked towards to the Church. The Bridesmaids were first to enter the Church, then Hayley and her Father followed. Wow! The atmosphere, emotions, reactions were fantastic and these continued all the way through the service. Some wonderful moments captured! Essex Church Wedding PhotographerAfter the Church service, everybody came outside and after a few minutes we got on with the requested family pictures.  It was nice for Jason to have a large contingent of his family over from Australia, where he originates from. With the group pictures completed the Guests threw confetti over Hayley and Jason.

Hayley and Jason then enjoyed the ride to Prested Hall for the Reception. The Drinks Reception awaited them and their Guests on their arrival and there was time for everyone to socialise. During the rest of the afternoon we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few of Hayley and Jason by themselves.Prested Hall Recommended Wedding Photographers

The Wedding Breakfast

The Marquee looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast and when the time was right the Guests everyone took their seats. The Speeches followed the meal before all the guests went outside to enjoy the evening sunshine.  Prested Hall Wedding Photography

The Evening

Hayley and Jason were pleased we asked them to create a few more pictures in the evening light. Moving around Prested Hall we ended up with a variety of nice relaxed and fun evening pictures. The Evening Guests were arriving when we returned so we left Hayley and Jason greeting them.

Later after cutting their Wedding Cake, they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. During the evening we captured a few informal pictures whilst waiting for the sunset. We whisked Hayley and Jason away for a little while by car for the sunset. Not to be missed! It was spectacular! Recommended Wedding Photographer Prested HallThis ended our coverage of Hayley and Jason’s wonderful Wedding. A lovely couple! A great Wedding! Thank you to Hayley and Jason for such  a memorable Wedding. A mention to Rachel of Prested Hall, it was nice working with you as always.

Wedding Photographer Crabbs Barn for Trish and Chris

Wedding Photographer Crabbs Barn – Trish and Chris got married on a glorious day in the Autumn last year. We arrived at Trish’s home first of all to take a few getting ready pictures and a few pictures of Trish’s accessories and details. Before we left we managed to take a few pictures when everybody was ready.  Trish and Chris were having a Church Service at St Margarets Church, Downham. We love this Church and where it is situated, at the top of a hill. When we arrived we met Chris with his Groomsmen and it was nice again to work with David of Humble Productions. We had time to take a few pictures of the men by the gate before the Wedding Guests made their way into the Church. Wedding Photographer St Margarets Church DownhamThe Bridesmaids arrived soon after and Trish arrived a little later on with her Mum, who was giving her away. After a couple of pictures they made their way into Church. After the service as Trish and Chris came out of the Church they had a little time to socialise with their Guests. Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers for Angela & Stephen

We were Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographers for Angela and Steve who were married last year at All Saints Church, Springfield and their Reception was held at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon.  Our day started at Angela’s Parents’ house where Angela and her Bridesmaids were getting ready. All preparations were going well so together with taking a few action pictures we took a few pictures of Angela’s details and accessories, capturing the ‘Disney’ theme running through the Wedding Day. Wedding Photographer EssexOnce the girls and Angela’s Parents were ready we took a few pictures in the Conservatory, as it was raining. With these finished we left them and made our way to All Saints Church.  Steve was there with his Sister and Guests were starting to arrive. The rain had stopped so we were able to take a few pictures of Steve outside. It was one of those days, whilst waiting for the Bridesmaids to arrive, it started raining again! Fortunately, as Angela arrived it had stopped.  Angela made her way into the Church accompanied by her Father. Church Wedding Photographer EssexDuring the service the sun came out and after the service we were able to take the requested family pictures outside. Before leaving the Church, the Guests lined the paths and as they walked down the path to the car to go to Crabbs Barn they were showered in confetti. Boreham House Wedding Photography – Nicola and Philip’s summer wedding Reception  was held at the stunning Boreham House following their Church Ceremony at  St Mary’s, Great Baddow. We arrived at Nicola and Philip’s  house on a glorious morning. Nicky and her Bridesmaids were having their make up applied and finished outside on the patio in the garden, it was such a warm day. Whilst we got on with taking detail pictures of the dress and accessories upstairs we could keep an eye on what was happening from the bedroom window. The Flowergirls were the first to get dressed they had a few pictures taken in the garden.

Essex Wedding Photographer The Bridesmaids were next to get ready as they were going to help Nicola get ready. Dressed, Nicola looked so elegant! After the pictures in the garden with her Mother, the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls, it was time for us to depart for St Mary’s Church, Great Baddow. Philip was at the Church when we got there and when all the Groomsmen arrived we took a few pictures. Many of the Wedding Guests arrived at the Church on the double decker bus.  This always makes for some nice arrival pictures. Wedding Photography Down Hall for Natasha and Ryan

Wedding Photography Down Hall for Natasha and Ryan

It was nice to make a welcome return to the stunning Down Hall for Natasha and Ryan’s summer Wedding. Our day started early with our first trip of the day to Down Hall Country House Hotel, which is where Natasha was getting ready. On arrival Natasha was well on the way with her preparations, everything was running smoothly. This was a good thing as Natasha and Ryan’s Church Wedding was back in Witham at mid-day. Natasha’s Wedding Dress and Accessories were laid out ready to be photographed so we got on with doing these. The first of the Bridesmaids got dressed and then lent a helping hand, as did Mum,  in dressing Natasha. With Natasha ready we took a few pictures of her in the room whilst the Bridesmaids finished off their preparations.  We didn’t have to wait for long, which was great. We were then able to go out of the room onto the landing and stairs where there was more space and take a few pictures of all of them.

Wedding Photography Down Hall After a few pictures of Natasha we left to go to St Nicolas Church in Witham. Ryan was there when we arrived with his Best Man and Ushers.  It was at this time a shower of rain made an appearance but thankfully not for long! It had dried up by the time Natasha arrived. With the Guests seated in the Church, Natasha took her Father’s arm  and walked up the path to make her entrance. After the service, we quickly took a couple of pictures outside the Church, before the Guests lined the path for the confetti throwing.Essex Wedding Photographer It was then off to Down Hall for the Reception. We took a couple of pictures outside Down Hall as Natasha and Ryan arrived, Whilst the rest of the Guests were arriving we took them for a short walk around the grounds for their pictures. Wedding Photographer Down Hall Natasha and Ryan then had time to socialise with their Guests before we got on with the family pictures and fun Bridal pictures, which were great.  During this time the Guests were entertained by Natasha’s Uncle Gavin who is also a Magician. It was soon time for the Receiving Line prior to theWedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed before everyone came out of the room so it could be set up for the evening. It was a beautiful evening and the ‘golden hour’ beckoned. Once the room was ready, it was time for the cake cutting followed by Natasha and Ryan’s First Dance. Surprise! During their dance, the music changed, dancers emerged from the people watching and took to the dance floor! The Flashmob dance began! Natasha and Ryan’s Parents joined them as well!  Brilliant! What a performance! Down Hall Wedding Photographer Soon after this it was time for us to leave them to continue the celebrations. Congratulations to Natasha and Ryan on a lovely day! Well done to Natasha, your timings were impeccable! It was nice to work with Mark Greatbach again and for the first time Philip White Visuals.
