Moreves Barn Wedding Photography for Katy & Sean

Moreves Barn Wedding Photography for Katy & Sean

Katy and Sean booked us for Moreves Barn wedding photography. A perfect place for a summer country Wedding, we loved it!  On the morning of the Wedding we travelled to The Case, Assington, which is where Katy, her Parents and Bridesmaids were  staying and getting ready for the Wedding. Not only is The Case a wonderful place to stay but the food is absolutely fabulous!

Katy was enjoying her morning of getting ready and was so relaxed! Come to that so were all of them! Whilst the final preparations were taking place we took pictures of Katy’s dress and accessories. Leah, the Flowergirl looked lovely  in her dress as did the Bridesmaids. Katy looked stunning in her Wedding Dress. Once her Father had come into the room and seen her we got on with the pictures. We stepped outside and found a sheltered spot as it was a touch windy.

Moreves Barn

With a few pictures taken we left them to go to Moreves Barn for the Ceremony. Sean and his Groomsmen were there and quickly took a few pictures of them before they were needed for their duties. With the guests all safely out of the way  Katy arrived and went up the outside steps into the Barn. A few minutes later Katy and her Father walked down the aisle. Katy’s Grandma was able to view the Ceremony from the ground floor which was perfect. Moreves Barn Wedding Photography

Following the Ceremony the Guests left by one entrance, then when they all gathered in the Courtyard, Katy and Sean came down the steps and once on terra firma were showered in confetti. Everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside. Katy and Sean went for a short drive in the car before we got on with the requested family pictures. There are so many photo opportunities at Moreves Barn that you are spoilt for choice, so during the rest of the afternoon we used a few of these without taking Katy and Sean away from their Guests for too long. The Speeches and Evening Celebrations

Time for the Speeches before the Wedding Breakfast. It was a nice evening so whilst waiting for the evening Guests to arrive and the evening celebrations to begin we took Katy and Sean for a few more pictures around the grounds. Katy and Sean cut their Wedding Cake before going onto the dance floor, not for their First Dance though!

A game took place between the two of them which was amusing. After their First Dance and when we had taken a few informal pictures to capture the evening, the sunset beckoned! A massive ‘thank you’ to Katy and Sean for that extra walk for the sunset picture, it was worth it! Wedding Photographer Suffolk Moreves BarnHappy with our coverage of Katy and Sean’s Wedding we said our ‘goodbyes’.  A fantastic Wedding and a pleasure to work with such a lovely couple! It was lovely to catch up Nicola (Sean’s sister) and Kris again, we photographed their Wedding at Crabbs Barn in 2013. It was also nice to see Katherine and Matt again whose Wedding we photographed at Haughley Park Barn in 2013. This was our first Moreves Barn Wedding Photography and we thoroughly liked it, we are looking forward to working there again.

Essex Wedding Photographers at Crabbs Barn for Jasmine and Jake

Essex Wedding Photographers at Crabbs Barn for Jasmine and Jake

We had the pleasure to be Essex Wedding Photographers at Crabbs Barn for Jasmine and Jake –  The weather was beautiful for Jasmine and Jake’s Wedding in the Summer at Crabbs Barn. Our day started at the fabulous Air B & B Maysent House, Bocking, Braintree. Jasmine and Jake had hired out this house for a couple of days. Jasmine, the two Mums and the girls were getting ready there and it was perfect. When we arrived the preparations were going well. We chatted with Pam, Jasmine’s Mum for a few minutes to catch up as we took her Wedding photographs when she married Dan at Fennes a few years ago.

Essex wedding details

It was nice to see Michelle of  Bumblebee Bridal again (we have worked with her a lot recently) working her magic on the girls’ hair.  Just loved the colour scheme and the flowers in the hair! Whilst the hair and make up preparations were going on in the downstairs rooms and after capturing some images we went upstairs to take pictures of Jasmine’s dress and accessories. It was nice to have room to take these pictures. These taken, the  Bridesmaids were getting dressed, Jasmine’s Mum, Pam, who was ready then helped Jasmine get dressed. After a few pictures we all went outside into the garden.Wedding Photographer Essex A shady area provided enough room for us to take a few pictures of them all before we left to go to the wedding. Good timing!

Crabbs Barn

We arrived at Crabbs Barn just as Jake did! Jake and his Best Men had a few pictures taken before they carried out their duties.Crabbs Barn Recommended Wedding Photographer Guests mingled in the gardens before Jasmine arrived so we were able to capture a few informal pictures before they made their way into the Barn for the Ceremony. Jasmine’s  Mum, Pam, escorted her into the Barn when it was time for the Ceremony. Following the Ceremony everyone went outside for the Dove release.

During the Drinks Reception we got on with taking the required family pictures. There was time for Jasmine and Jake to have several breaks from various pictures to socialise with their Guests. Jasmine and Jake were covered with petals just before going inside the Barn for the BBQ.

The Speeches

Crabbs Barn Wedding PhotographerThe Speeches followed the meal and afterwards every went outside into the grounds to enjoy the evening sunshine. The evening light was superb so we went with Jasmine and Jake for a walk in the lane. Lovely pictures! Essex Wedding PhotographersWhen we returned the Evening Guests had arrived and they joined the audience as they were being entertained by the fabulous Magician, Nick Crown. As always some great reactions! Today also provided a great Sunset which was followed by Jasmine and Jake cutting their Wedding cake then taking to the dance floor for their First Dance. It wasn’t long after that we said our goodbyes. A beautiful day, and such a lovely couple.

Essex Family Portraits

Essex Family Portraits

A couple of months ago we were booked for some Essex Family Portraits. Alison and Mike were married at Crabbs Barn in 2013 so it was lovely to meet up with them again. This time it was to meet their son, Max for the first time. We were commissioned to capture some portraits of  him and the three of them as a family. Max was only a couple of weeks old when we saw him but for someone so young he was awake and very aware of everything around him for most of the time. An enjoyable time spent with this family ending up with some nice pictures.

Fennes Outdoor Wedding for Kelly & Ben

Fennes Outdoor Wedding for Kelly & Ben

It was a beautiful day for Kelly and Ben’s Fennes Outdoor Wedding. Both Kelly and Ben were getting ready at Fennes so  David and I went our separate ways to photograph the preparations. In both camps preparations were going well. The Flowergirl, Ophelia,  was happy drawing and colouring whilst watching the preparations, waiting patiently for her turn to get dressed.

Once Ben and his Groomsmen were ready they came over to the House. After Ben had opened his present from Kelly he had a few pictures taken with his Best Man and Ushers. Upstairs, Kelly and her Bridesmaids were getting dressed with Mum assisting Kelly and were all soon ready for some pictures. Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes

The Ceremony

Guests who had been socialising outside and others who were arriving made their way to the area for the Ceremony. Ben escorted Kelly’s Mother over to the Gazebo for the Ceremony as Kelly came down the stairs and was greeted by her Father. After seeing the Registrars, Kelly and the girls had a few minutes before leaving the Gold Room and going outside. Some lovely pictures against a wonderful backdrop as they joined everybody. The Reception

After the Ceremony everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception entertained by the String Quartet. Timings were fine allowing time for Kelly and Ben to socialise as well as taking their requested pictures. A nice relaxing afternoon gave us time to take a variety of pictures but without keeping Kelly and Ben for long periods of time away from their Guests.  Before the Wedding Breakfast the Guests showered Kelly and Ben in confetti.

After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. Once these were finished as it was such a lovely evening, the light was good we went outside for a few more pictures.  Finishing off as we returned to the Pavilion we took a couple of pictures in the house.Classic posed wedding pictures in Fennes red room After the evening Guests had arrived it was time for cutting the Wedding Cake and the First Dance. Kelly and Ben were joined on the dance floor by their Guests. Our coverage of Kelly and Ben’s Wedding ended with a lovely sunset.Evening wedding pictures at Fennes Essex A great day and a lovely couple. It was good to work with Philip Smith Visuals as well.

Family Portraits Chelmsford

Family Portraits Chelmsford

It was nice when Louise and Stephen got in touch with us a few months ago asking about some Family Portraits Chelmsford. They wanted some pictures taken then they could choose one as a present for Stephen’s Mum’s special Birthday. Ideally of the four grandchildren. When we photographed Louise and Stephen’s Wedding in 2014 at Crabbs Barn, they already had their daughter Emily. Now they also have have a son called Oliver. Stephen’s sister joined us on the arranged weekend morning at Louise and Stephen’s home with her two daughters.  It was pretty lively with a two year old, we had fun, and they ended up with a variety of pictures to choose from. We often hear ‘we have nowhere to take pictures’, a small space is just fine.

Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate for Beth & Alex

Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate for Beth & Alex

It was a nice day when we arrived to be Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate for Alex and Beth’s  Wedding. We arrived early at Fennes as Beth   was getting ready there before the Church Wedding at St Mary’s Church, Bocking. Beth was upstairs in the Bridal Changing Rooms with her Bridesmaids and all was calm and collected.   We got on with taking pictures of Beth’s accessories and details whilst capturing images of the final preparations.

It wasn’t long before Beth and the Bridesmaids were dressed and ready for some photographs. After a couple of pictures upstairs we went downstairs and into the Gold Room. It is really nice when there are no Guests inside the House as we are able to take some pictures in the downstairs rooms before leaving for a Church Wedding. With the pictures taken we left Beth to go to the Church.

St Mary’s Bocking

Alex and his Groomsmen were there carrying out their duties we were able to interrupt them just for a few minutes to take a few pictures.St Mary's Church Bocking Wedding Photographer We took some Guests arrival pictures coming up the path and into the Church before Beth arrived. At the Church Tippi, the Flowergirl, joined Beth, her Father and the Bridesmaids.St Mary's Church Bocking Wedding Photographer Beth and her Father followed the Bridesmaids into the Church for the service. It was a nice service and when it was finished everybody exited the Church for a few quick family pictures.  Beth and Alex then walked down the path being showered by confetti as they went. Returning to Fennes, we got on with the car pictures before the Guests arrived.

The Drinks Reception followed outdoors with the weather holding. Alex and Beth wanted to have plenty of time to spend with their Guests and that is exactly what they had. During the afternoon we took a few smaller group pictures. We spent a few minutes with Beth and Alex taking their pictures as the forecast was not looking too good for later. Wedding Photographer Fennes Estate Then the rain came just before we could get the ‘everybody’ shot done. Thankfully Fennes has lots of space and with the help of the staff we managed to improvise just prior to the Wedding Breakfast.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and this was followed by the Speeches. Afterwards there was Crazy Golf and other games in the Banqueting Hall to keep the adults and children entertained. Later Beth and Alex cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. The weather prevented us taking Beth and Alex outside for some evening pictures so we made use of the steps and took the ‘heart’ picture. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerHappy with our pictures we then said our ‘goodbyes’. It was a lovely day and nice to see Stephanie (Alex’s sister)  and Tim, whose Wedding we photographed 21 years ago at Leez Priory!
