What a good Prested Hall wedding fair we all had on Sunday! Thanks to the team at Prested Hall for their hard work and thank you to everybody who attended. We enjoyed being there and were delighted to come away with bookings and appointments!
Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Rebecca & Tom – Rebecca and Tom chose the popular Wedding Venue Prested Hall, Feering, for their relaxed early spring Wedding. We met Rebecca upstairs in the Bridal Room at Prested Hall, as she was getting ready with her Mum’ Bridesmaids and Flowergirls. With lots going on we captured a few images as well as taking a few pictures of Rebecca’s details and accessories.
Tom arrived at Prested Hall a little while later, with his Parents and Brother. We took a few pictures of them with the car before they were joined by Tom’s BestMan and Ushers. After these were completed they all then went inside to welcome the Wedding Guests. Once Rebecca was ready we took a couple of pictures before it was time for the Ceremony. Rebecca looked a picture as she made her entrance into the Orangery for the Civil Service. After the Ceremony, Rebecca and Tom led their Guests into the Lounge area for the Drinks Reception. Although dry outside, it was rather chilly, so we made use of the sheltered entrance outside Prested Hall for the requested family pictures. Following these pictures we carried on with Rebecca and Tom’s ‘together’ pictures. We achieved some nice portraits in a short amount of time, making sure Rebecca did not shiver too much! Rebecca and Tom returned to their Guests and to the warmth of Prested Hall! They socialised up until it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. As we had not visited the Bridge during Rebecca and Tom’s pictures earlier, so during a break in the Wedding Breakfast there was just enough time to take a few pictures of them over there. Speeches were after the meal and then everybody mingled in the rooms at Prested Hall whilst the Band set up for the evening entertainment. Once the Evening Guests had arrived Rebecca and Tom cut their Wedding Cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance. After capturing some photos of the evening celebrations, our final picture of the night was a ‘sparklers’ shot. A lovely Wedding, a delightful couple! A pleasure as always working with David from Rideout.
We are photographing an Osea Island wedding in a few weeks time so today we took the opportunity to visit and see the location ahead of the big day.
Osea is a private Island in the Blackwater Estuary near Maldon, Essex.
Osea Island is connected to the mainland by a mile long causeway only passable at low tide.
Osea Island causeway
The access is so restricted it is easy to see why it is such a popular spot for celebrity parties. It looks like it will also be a fantastic wedding venue and we are very much looking forward to becoming Osea Island wedding photographers.
Come and meet us at Prested Hall Wedding Fair, Feering, this Sunday 26 April 2015 from 12 mid-day until 4.0pm. We are looking forward to attending and showing our sample Albums. The Drawing Room is where you will find us. We have a new Prested Hall winter wedding album and a great new package on Special Offer! Drop in and say hello!
We were delighted to be asked to photograph Kate and Mark’s Wedding at the stunning Bradbourne House, East Malling Kent. Kate was a Bridesmaid at her sister’s Emma’s Wedding which we photographed at Court Lodge Barn, Stansted, Kent, in the summer last year. Now it was role reversal time! We arrived at Kate’s Parents’ house on a beautiful early spring day. The girls were getting ready and everything was running smoothly. Capturing the moments as well as detail and accessory shots kept us busy and as always the last hour was going so quickly!
Kate was helped by her Mother, Yvonne, and her Bridesmaids, Jemma, Emma and Becky and once everything was completed we all stepped outside into the garden for a few portraits. With a slight wind blowing we were thankful the back garden was sheltered. After taking the pictures we then left to go to St Mary’s Church, Fawkham, for the church service. The sun was shining, some Guests were greeting Mark and his Groomsmen, whilst others were just arriving. It was a lovely setting for some informal guest arrival pictures before the start of the Wedding. After a couple of pictures of Mark, it was time for everybody to go inside the Church before Kate arrived. With all the guests seated in the Church, Kate was escorted by her Father, Paul, and her Bridesmaids, along the path and into the church. After the service, Kate and Mark led their Guests outside for a few requested family pictures. Although reasonably sunny and warm the wind had got up causing a change to our spot for some of the pictures. Kate and Mark in between the pictures talked to their Guests before it was time to leave for the Reception. This was our first Bradbourne House Wedding and we were looking forward to taking pictures taken there, hoping we could find sufficient time! Luck was on our side, the journey was good so getting there at the same time as Kate and Mark allowed us to take the happy couple for a short walk around the stunning grounds for some pictures. As their Guests arrived they went into the House to enjoy the Drinks Reception and as ever we wanted the happy couple to spend time with their guests, not just us taking photos! Whilst Kate and Mark enjoyed this period we took some candid and documentary pictures of the guests. With it being so warm, several of their Guests spilled out onto the patio and steps at the back of the House to enjoy the sunshine, giving us extra opportunity for some different pictures. After a few requested small group pictures and some fun bridal pictures, it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. We were unsure whether there was going to be a sunset and if we would be able to see it due to the trees! Knowing it would be during the Wedding Breakfast we were on standby and we couldn’t have been more lucky, a brilliant sunset! After the Speeches the room was prepared for the evening entertainment. With the room transformation complete, Kate and Mark then performed a rehearsed First Dance to their Guests, followed by members of Kate’s family doing their ‘party’ piece, great fun! We finishing our coverage of a wonderful Wedding with a couple of outside pictures. Thank you to Emma for helping us finding Guests so quickly for the pictures allowing us to get some extra pictures of Kate and Mark together. A wonderful Wedding! Thank you to Yvonne and Paul for making us so welcome. We look forward to doing another Bradbourne House wedding in the future.
