Wedding Photography for Sarah & Mark – St Peter & St Paul Church, Black Notley & Fennes

Our day started at Sarah and Mark’s house where Sarah, her Mum, and Sarah & Mark’s daughter, Kiera were getting ready.  The day was running smoothly and it was not long before Sarah was ready for some photographs, to be joined shortly by her Mum and Kiera.  After taking a few pictures of all of them we left to go to St. Peter & St. Paul Church, Black Notley.  Mark was there with their son, Fraser, so we took some portraits of them before Sarah arrived.  Following the church service and a few family group shots and confetti in the grounds, Fennes was our next stop. wedding-photographer-essex-st peter & st paul church-black notley Fennes looked beautiful as always and the Autumn colours added to the setting.  Whilst the Guests were arriving, we took Sarah and Mark for a short walk around Fennes for some of their pictures. wedding-photographer-essex-fennes Later, when all Guests had arrived we took the remainder of their requested pictures as well as some informal ones.  The Receiving Line preceded the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. Before Sarah and Mark’s evening Guests arrived Sarah and Mark asked for a few pictures taken in the rooms in Fennes which we were delighted to do.  Sarah tossed her Bouquet to her friends, prior to the cake cutting and First Dance.  Shortly afterwards it was time for us to leave everybody to enjoy the rest of the

Wedding Photography for Kavita & Sam – The Fennes Estate, Bocking

We arrived at Fennes for the Wedding of Kavita and Sam with plenty of time to capture pictures of Kavita getting ready, then moving to The Fennes Suite for some pictures of Kavita, her Family and Bridesmaids.  In between times we found Sam, his Best Man and Ushers, who were greeting Guests and took a few pictures of them before they went to the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony.  After the Ceremony, with the weather not playing ball, everybody stayed in the House for the Drinks Reception. During this time we took some family group photographs in the Gold Room, mixed with a few Bridal Party pictures and a few pictures of Kavita and David and I are always up for going outside whatever the weather if the Bride and Groom want to as well, and as Kavita had her “Weddington Boots” , we took the opportunity.  With the help of a few of the Bridal Party and umbrellas, off we went to the Bridge. wedding-photographer-essex-the fennes estate A short stop for a couple of pictures in the Gazebo, then back in the dry! Thank you to all! Wedding Breakfast and Speeches followed before Kavita and Sam left their Guests for a change of dress for their Evening Reception.   Once changed, we took some photographs of the two of them before they made their entrance for the start of the Evening After a few dancing pictures, and relaxed, informal pictures of their Guests and evening Guests, it was time for us to leave.

Wedding Photography for Diane & Ken – Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon

It was a busy morning for Diane at her Parents’ house getting ready for her special day.  After taking a few pictures of preparations, and as we had a journey to get to Crabbs Barn, it was decided to catch up on some of the pictures later on.  The rain clouds were holding off as we arrived at Crabbs Barn allowing us to get some pictures of Ken and his Dad, who was Best Man. After the Civil Ceremony, we quickly took a few pictures of Diane and Ken and their son Oliver with the car, outside Crabbs Barn, which Oliver thoroughly enjoyed!wedding-photographer-essex-crabbs barn During the Drinks Reception, with the Guests enjoying the sunshine and the children playing with the garden games, we took a few family group pictures, together with those we did not have time to do earlier.  Making sure Diane and Ken had some social time we were able to steal them away for a few minutes for their portraits around Crabbs Barn before the Wedding barnThe time of the sunset was during the wedding breakfast but thanks goes to Paul, the Manager at Crabbs Barn for adjusting the timings of the courses so Diane and Ken could have the pictures they barn

After capturing some of the evening celebrations and guests we ended our day .

Fennes Open Days

Thank you to everybody who came to last Sunday’s and yesterday’s Open Days at Fennes. It was great to meet and talk to you and we were very pleased to get bookings.

Thank you

To David and Sandra,
We would like to say a huge thank you to you both for everything you did for our wedding. On the day you were friendly and welcoming to everyone and so many people have told us how nice you were. Since the wedding you have been incredible. To get a preview of wedding pictures to us before our honeymoon was so thoughtful of you and much appreciated. To top everything off, your pictures are amazing. Our album is perfect and so too are the parent albums. We love showing it to people and they have all said how brilliantly it tells the story of the day in such a high quality album.
Overall you have captured our wedding day in a way that we will always treasure. You are fabulous photographers and such special people. We will never hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family and will remember that you do a portrait service that I know we will use in the future.
Thank you so much for everything,
Anne and Stephen wedding-photographer-essex-crabbs barn

Baby Portraits

We photographed Sarah and Russell’s Wedding in 2006 at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, so we were pleased to be asked to photograph their son Beau. Being such a happy baby, we captured some lovely

'Bump' pictures

It was great to see Vicki and Sean again, a few months ago, the previous time was when we photographed their Wedding at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, in 2011.  They wanted a few pictures of the two of them before their baby arrived and we were happy to oblige.  portrait-photographer-essex

We have now met Sam & Neil several times firstly for their 2010 Wedding at Gosfield Hall, then for the Christening of their eldest son William in 2011. We were delighted to be asked to take some photographs at the Christening of their youngest son, Freddie, at  St Nicolas Church, Witham. Taking a mixture of informal and formal pictures to mark the occasion worked well, without taking too long or intruding on the ceremony.  A lovely afternoon with everybody and we look forward to seeing them all again soon. family-portrait-photographer-essex
